What does not exist yet?
No physical Pelagio Defense pod, field-tested energy system, field-tested station keeping, or deployed fleet exists today.
Why build the software first?
Data provenance, telemetry contracts, health monitoring, autonomy boundaries, and operator understanding can be made testable before a prototype enters the water.
Why keep simulation?
Seeded fictional state supports regression, offline development, and autonomy verification when it remains visibly separate from live data.
